Our Process
How It Works
Referral & Assessment
Veterans are identified through our partner organizations, or can reach out directly. We assess the veteran's specific technology needs, living situation, and intended use of the computer.
Component Selection & Funding
We select the appropriate components for each build based on the assessment, then secure funding through donations, grants, and community support.
Build & Quality Testing
Eddie and our volunteers carefully assemble the computer by hand, performing thorough quality and performance testing before it's considered ready for delivery.
Software Setup
The computer is configured with the operating system, essential applications, security software, and any specialized tools the veteran will need for their specific goals.
Delivery & Training
We deliver the computer and provide hands-on training so the veteran is confident using it. We follow up to ensure everything is working and address any questions.
